I'm Varun Gwalani — a critically acclaimed 7-time published author best known for my bestselling psychological thrillers The Only Way Out Is Death and A Deadly Faith.
Through a decade of storytelling and an obsession with true crime, I designed murder mystery games that bring audiences into the story — theatre-of-the-mind experiences that have run in Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune.
My games Death of a Cult Leader and Who Started the Fire? have been featured in the Times of India and Figrr, and I've hosted events at Google and Dream11. Beyond events, I work on mental health advocacy, creative writing education, and manuscript support.
